"Hey, guys." Bella suddenly said, seemingly deep in thought. Afterwards they all sat in Cleo's room talking. In minutes, the juices were made and distributed to the girls and they were on their way to Cleo's house just in time for Sam's delicious dinner. “Of course he will.” Zane muttered under his breath. “I guess we could keep that in mind, but Will will be there to help.” Cleo told him. You guys can count on me if you have anything go on.” Zane promised. Well, yeah but I swear I mean it this time. “Isn't that exactly what you’ve said numerous times before when you really didn’t mean it?” Rikki asked as she raised her eyebrows in expectation. “Hey, if you guys need any help tonight with the, you know, you’ll call me right?” “Can do.” Zane replied with an almost microscopic pursed lip smile. "We'll have three juices with watermelon and mint." Bella answered, tapping her fingers against the countertop as she looked to the other two before adding. "You can never be too careful Rikki." Cleo said, partially being cut off by Zane as he approached them at the counter. "Do we really need to be that careful? Last time I checked the moon didn't affect us anymore and the water tentacle debacle was solved." Rikki responded, standing up as the group made their way over to the counter. "Tonight's a full moon, remember? Dad's agreed to let me have you guys over tonight." ![]() "Maybe we could get them to go." Cleo suggested. "Yeah, that's really great." Rikki added on. "Cleo, that's incredible! You worked really hard at school last year and now it's paying off." Bella replied immediately, her face completely stuck in a smile. "I got into the University of Sydney! It was my number one university out of the ones I applied to and I'll be studying there starting this fall! Can you believe it?" Cleo beamed brightly like the sun as she looked to her two best friends. "Really, what is it?" Bella asked, genuinely interested. found a four leaf clover." Rikki guessed, somewhat sarcastically while Bella snickered. "Guys, you'll never believe it." She announced to them as she sat down beside Rikki. She walked down the street with a bounce in her step until she made it to the cafe and sure enough her two mermaid friends were sitting at a table by the wall. Bye everyone." Cleo called as she disappeared out the front door. "I couldn't miss it with all the work you'll be doing, Sam. "That sounds amazing, Darling." Don stated while Cleo walked toward the door. "How about I make your favorite meal for dinner tonight?" Sam suggested. "In celebration of your great achievement." I actually got in!" Cleo exclaimed out of pure disbelief as they all stood back. Sertori said as he waved for Kim to join the large family hug, which she did begrudgingly. Sertori stood up and hugged Cleo, who was silent with her mouth open in shock. "Congratulations!" Dear Cleo, With greatest enthusiasm on behalf of our faculty and staff, we would like to congratulate you and welcome you as a member of the University of Sydney class of 2011. "Addressed to Cleo Sertori from the University of Sydney. "If you won't read it I will." She cleared her throat and unfolded it with ease. "Oh come on." Kim whined, snatching the paper from her older sister. "I don't know if I can read it." She managed to spit out. ![]() Cleo was speechless as she took a deep breath. "What's it say, Sweetheart?" Her father asked as he sat down next to his wife Sam on the couch, holding a mug of scalding coffee. ![]() It was folded vertically and she couldn't bring herself to unfold it. The paper she held felt heavy and wouldn't stop shaking as a result of her trembling hands. ![]() Cleo let out a big deep breath as she pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose.
